Temple Newsam Golf Club
Established 1923

Temple Newsam
Golf Club is situated some 3 miles to the east of Leeds, with two eighteen-hole courses providing the largest municipal golfing facility
within 100 miles.
The club itself is private but pay-and-play golfers are welcome to use the bar
and cafe facilities.
The 2 courses occupy some 270 acres out of the 932 acre, Temple Newsam House
estate.
At more than 300 years old, Temple Newsam House is probably most famous as the
birthplace of Lord Darnley (consort of Mary Queen of Scots).
