Driving across an angled stream and out of trees, the ideal shot is a fade to a generous fairway that runs away slightly to the right, where trees await the overdone fade. The fairway bunkers at 200 yards must be avoided if the green is to be reached in two shots.
A medium or long iron is the norm for the second shot. Trees present danger to the right and through the back of the green.
This is one of the larger greens at Temple Newsam with bunkers positioned front right and along the left hand side.
